Cold Insulation

If we insulate, we can further prevent heat loss and save on energy. The insulation commonly used today is black rubber insulation, which has excellent thermal resistance (0.035 W/m·K). However, when comparing the cost of insulating versus the energy loss, it may be acceptable because most of the pipes inside a building are located within enclosed areas, both inside walls and under the ceiling. There is minimal air movement, resulting in minimal heat loss. Nevertheless, insulated pipes are still better in terms of energy conservation.
