ROCKWOOL ProRox Stone Wool for Industry

ProRox is the ROCKWOOL stone wool range built for industrial use: pipework, tanks, boilers, columns and equipment at petrochemical plants and refineries. It is rated for service up to 650°C and is non-combustible (Euroclass A1). Centrotec supplies ProRox to insulation contractors and installs it with our own team.

Four ProRox forms for every job

ProRox PS 960SA pipe sections

Split and hinged for snap-on fitting on high-temperature pipework under mechanical load. Reinforced aluminium foil facing on request.

ProRox WM 950 / 960 / 970 wired mats

Mats stitched on galvanized wire mesh for large outdoor pipework and equipment. WM 970 is the heavy-duty grade for vibrating installations. Stainless mesh or foil facing on request.

ProRox SL 950 / SL 960SA slabs

Strong, rigid slabs for boilers, columns, tanks and vessels at intermediate temperatures.

ProRox BL 958SA / BL 960 blankets

Blanket rolls without wire mesh for non-vibrating industrial equipment (BL 958SA up to 450°C).

Why ProRox

Non-combustible, Euroclass A1 (EN 13501-1)
Chloride ≤ 10 ppm; meets the ASTM C795 stainless-steel corrosion specification, so it is safe on stainless pipework and equipment
PS 960SA and WM grades use the WR-Tech water-repellent binder to reduce the risk of corrosion under insulation (CUI); water absorption ≤ 0.2 kg/m², even after 24 h at 250°C
PS 960SA and WM grades are free of substances such as silicone oil that impair coating adhesion (VW 3.10.7)
Made from volcanic rock; not classified as hazardous under Note Q of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
